A New Beginning
SCROLL
A New Beginning
I hope this post finds you well. It's been a long time since we closed the doors to our
beloved studio on beautiful Bainbridge Island for the last time. You might be
wondering…so then what happened?
New doors opened.
The many tables at the studio and those subsequently set with friends and family
inspired me to continue with a body of work into which I've poured my heart and soul
these past years: researching, collecting, and curating stories from around the table.
Intentional Table is my life’s work, and it’s time to share my research on strengthening
our communities, relationships, and families because I’ve found the patterns that
gathering around tables has on culture, courage, and connection.
I’ll be honest, some things have worked, and many haven’t, so I’ve course-corrected
along the way (what feels like 100 times). Isn’t that the way of life, though?
I’ve found that innovating takes time and grit. It’s worth it. I’ve learned a lot, which is
beautiful since I value lifelong learning.
Thank you for being patient and supportive over the years and, most of all, for being a
part of this amazing community.
You are invited by to pull up a chair and join the proverbial table.
